Location:
Sacramento, CA — Hybrid schedule with attorneys working remotely up to two days per week.
Note:
Must have an active California Bar license and 2+ years of trust and probate litigation experience, including meaningful exposure to California probate and civil court litigation. Candidates must be comfortable handling litigation matters independently.

Job Description
- Represent clients in trust and probate litigation matters in California courts.
- Handle discovery, law and motion practice, petitions, and other litigation proceedings.
- Take depositions and develop case strategies with increasing independence.
- Draft and argue petitions, motions, briefs, and other advocacy materials.
- Prepare for and participate in trials and evidentiary proceedings.
- Analyze estate planning documents and trust administration issues in the context of disputes.
- Communicate directly with sophisticated and high-net-worth clients.
- Work closely with partners and attorneys across the Trusts & Estates practice.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar admission.
- 2+ years of trust and probate litigation experience.
- Experience with California probate and civil court procedures.
- Strong discovery and law and motion experience.
- Deposition experience and demonstrated litigation skills.
- Working knowledge of estate planning documents and trust administration.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage substantive matters.
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Pay: $165,000.00 – $187,500.00 per year
