MARKET RELATED SALARY, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirements:

  • Admitted Attorney in good standing
  • 10+ years’ post-admission experience in Magistrates’ Court and High Court litigation
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation
  • Lead and oversee the Litigation Department
  • Manage a portfolio of complex litigation matters from inception to finalization
  • Appear in Magistrates’ Courts and High Courts where required
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide legal guidance to clients
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior attorneys and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, practice directives, and internal standards
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    Eviction proceedings Family law matters Delictual claims Commercial dispute resolution

    • Appointment as Head of Department
