Build the Foundation of a High-Growth Legal Function
Logica Ratio is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to become the first legal professional hired after our General Counsel. This is a unique opportunity to help build a modern, scalable in-house legal function from the ground up while supporting a rapidly growing healthcare services company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sophisticated corporate legal work and wants the opportunity to shape how a legal department operates. In addition to serving as a trusted partner to the General Counsel, you will help establish the processes, systems, and infrastructure that will support the company’s continued growth. You will have significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence how legal services are delivered across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the General Counsel on a broad range of corporate legal matters.
- Manage corporate governance, entity management, board materials, and corporate records.
- Draft, review, and coordinate commercial agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and customer agreements.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate outside counsel and manage legal matters from intake through completion.
- Develop contract templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Build scalable legal processes, document management, and matter tracking systems that enable the legal department to grow efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve legal operations through process improvement and technology.
- Partner with business leaders across the company to provide practical, business-focused legal support.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably supporting an in-house legal department or sophisticated corporate practice.
- Strong experience with corporate governance, commercial contracts, and entity management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where not every process has been established.
Preferred
- Experience building or improving legal department processes.
- Interest in legal operations, legal technology, or process optimization.
- Experience supporting M&A, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
