Job title: Manager – Legal Services – Lusaka

Department: Legal Services.

Station: Lusaka Main Post Office.

Type of Employment: 5 Years Contract of Employment.

Grade: ZPSC4

Reporting Line: Director – Legal Services.

Town: Lusaka.

Duties And Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, procurement, employment, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs; oversee contract compliance.
  • Represent the Corporation in courts, tribunals, and arbitration; manage litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Provides subsidiary board secretarial support, including drafting work plans, agendas, notices, and resolutions.
  • Protect and manage intellectual property rights; ensure compliance with data protection and digital regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop Legal Officers and departmental staff. Zambia Postal Services Corporation

Qualifications And Experience

  • Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with at least five (5)merits including English and Mathematics.
  • LLB degree and admission as Advocate of the High Court of Zambia with a valid Legal Practicing Certificate.
  • Membership in the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ).
  • Master’s in Law is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years post-admission experience, with at least 2 years at supervisory level in a corporate or quasi – government institution.
