Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to business leaders at the Dholera manufacturing site, driving people strategies aligned with organizational goals. The role focuses on workforce planning, employee engagement, industrial relations, and operational HR excellence in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, org design, and manpower strategy
- Drive performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
- Support business transformation, plant scale-up, and change initiatives
2. Manufacturing / Shopfloor HR
- Manage complete HR lifecycle for shopfloor (blue-collar) and staff workforce
- Ensure effective shift deployment, workforce utilization, and manpower productivity
- Build strong presence on the ground with daily engagement on shopfloor
3. Industrial Relations (Critical Role Component)
- Manage union relationships, workmen committees, and IR climate
- Lead wage negotiations, settlements, and contract labour governance
- Handle disciplinary processes, grievance resolution, and conflict management
- Maintain a stable, disruption-free industrial environment
4. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Design and execute employee engagement programs across plant workforce
- Drive attrition reduction strategies using HR analytics and workforce data
- Build a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture
5. Talent Management & Development
- Drive talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development
- Implement capability-building initiatives for plant supervisors and leadership roles
- Support learning interventions for both workmen and managerial workforce
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, CLRA, labor laws, and statutory regulations
- Handle internal/external audits, documentation, and regulatory adherence
- Work closely with legal/compliance teams
7. Continuous Improvement & HR Excellence
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or productivity improvement initiatives in HR processes
- Use HR data, dashboards, and analytics to drive decisions
- Improve HR processes through automation and system adoption (HRMS tools)
Key Requirements
Experience
- 8–15 years of HR experience
- Experience in plant/manufacturing HR environment.
- Proven experience in industrial relations and shopfloor HR operations.
- Exposure to greenfield projects, plant expansion, or transformation initiatives (preferred)
Education
- MBA / PGDM / MSW preferred; strong candidates with relevant manufacturing HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree will also be considered

- Strong data-driven decision making and HR analytics capability
