Duties:
Represent clients in employment-related litigation in both federal and state courts, including matters before the EEOC and NYSDHR.
Develop case strategies and provide effective counsel regarding workplace compliance and legal concerns.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Take and defend depositions, and argue motions in court.
Manage cases independently and collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality service.
Provide clients with proactive advice on legal issues impacting the workplace.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of employment law experience, including litigation in state and federal courts.
Proficiency in handling matters before the EEOC and NYSDHR.
Ability to develop case strategies, draft legal documents, and argue motions effectively.
Strong experience in workplace compliance and advising clients on employment-related issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver client-centered results.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
