About the Role:
A market leader in the commercial, media, and fashion industry is seeking a talented Soft IP Counsel to join its legal team. Key Responsibilities:
Advise on trademark strategy, protection, and enforcement.
Draft, negotiate, and manage licensing agreements and IP-related contracts.
Support and oversee trademark litigation matters, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Conduct trademark due diligence for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
Monitor IP developments in relevant industries and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and protect the company’s intellectual property assets.
Requirements:
0-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a focus on patent law.
Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
Experience in the commercial, media, or fashion industry is a plus.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Admission to a relevant state bar; USPTO registration is a strong advantage.
Experience at law firm or as an in house counsel.
