What You'll Be Doing

Legal Advisory & Commercial Support

• Provide legal guidance across operational, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including:

✓ Master Service Agreements (MSAs)

✓ SaaS Agreements

✓ NDAs

✓ Vendor Agreements

✓ Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

✓ Licensing Agreements

✓ Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Compliance, Cybersecurity & Governance

• Support compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and regulatory frameworks

• Support cybersecurity governance, audit readiness, and risk management initiatives

• Review information security policies and compliance frameworks

• Support internal and external audits

Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations including GDPR and Jamaica Data Protection requirements

• Support privacy governance, data transfer reviews, DPIAs, and policy development

Corporate & Risk Management

• Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend mitigation strategies

• Support governance frameworks, statutory filings, board resolutions, and dispute management

• Provide legal support for vendor governance and customer onboarding requirements

RequirementsQualifications

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)

✔ Certificate of Legal Education (CLE)

✔ Attorney-at-Law admitted to practice in Jamaica

Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Corporate Law, Cyber Law, Information Security Law, or International Business Law

Experience Required

7–12 Years Experience preferably within:

• IT Services

• SaaS Companies

• Telecommunications

• Technology Startups

• GPS Tracking / Fleet Management

• Cybersecurity Environments
