Legal Associate – Corporate & Commercial

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Position: Full-Time

Badsha Legal is seeking a highly motivated Legal Associate to join its Corporate & Commercial practice. The role involves advising clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, compliance, due diligence, and strategic advisory work.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and clients across diverse sectors and will have significant exposure to complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts and transaction documents.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to strategic legal solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.

  • Sound understanding of Corporate and Commercial Laws.
