Job Description

We are recruiting for our client, a major player in the real estate sector, a Legal & Corporate Associate to join their Luxembourg team.

Our client is part of a leading international alternative asset management platform with a significant global real estate portfolio spanning industrial & logistics, residential, office, hospitality, and retail assets across multiple regions. The organisation operates through a professional services environment supporting complex European investment structures.

The Legal & Compliance team is responsible for the corporate, legal, KYC and AML requirements of the investment structures and entities under management. The successful candidate will join the Luxembourg-based team and support the management of a large portfolio of real estate investment vehicles across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the legal and corporate requirements of a portfolio of approximately 150–200 real estate investment entities across Europe, including corporate governance and related documentation linked to investment structuring;
  • Draft, review, and coordinate execution of corporate and legal documentation, including intragroup agreements, distributions, annual accounts, corporate resolutions, and related property documentation;
  • Collaborate with internal departments as well as external advisors (legal, tax, asset management, and other stakeholders) on both domestic and cross-border transactions;
  • Ensure compliance of corporate entities with applicable corporate laws and regulatory requirements;
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting obligations under EU frameworks (including DAC6 and depositary-related reporting);
  • Participate actively in team initiatives, training, and continuous improvement projects;
  • Support the digitisation of legal documentation and data management processes using internal tools and databases.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a legal or corporate function within a fiduciary, law firm, or in-house environment in Luxembourg;
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory; any additional language is considered an advantage;
  • Experience with investment funds (open-ended or closed-ended) is a plus;
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate governance and RCS procedures;
  • Experience organising board meetings and working with corporate service providers, auditors, lawyers, and notaries;
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications;
  • Resourceful, flexible, and proactive in approach.
