Position: Law Clerk Role
Elevate your legal career as a Law Clerk in our Insurance Defence unit, with a hybrid role based in Toronto or Mississauga. You’ll engage deeply with Accident Benefits and Tort claims management to drive successful outcomes.
As an integral part of our team, your duties will include drafting pleadings and LAT forms, managing document productions, and coordinating independent examinations. You’ll help streamline practices while supporting trial preparations in a collaborative environment focused on quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide management support for Accident Benefits and Tort files
• Draft and review essential legal documents
• Coordinate Independent Examination processes and summarize documents
• Ensure thorough preparations for trial and arbitration
• Support all aspects of insurance defence claims handling
Requirements:
• Knowledge of Ontario civil procedures and Tort law
• Experience as an Insurance Defence Law Clerk
• Relevant college diploma or university degree
• Strong skills with legal software and document management
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
