As we expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Legal to lead our legal function, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the legal department and oversee legal operations.
Ensure compliance with fintech regulations, corporate governance, and risk management.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, vendor agreements, and partnerships.
Develop legal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify and mitigate legal risks in fintech operations.
Monitor regulatory changes and adapt company policies accordingly.
Provide legal training on compliance and risk management.
Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage external counsel.
Support fundraising, investments, and financial transactions.
Work closely with compliance, finance, and product teams to align legal frameworks with business operations.
Requirements:
A degree in law from a Ukrainian or foreign university.
Fluent English
Proven leadership experience in managing legal teams.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Action-oriented, well-organized, self-starter.
