We are working with a Boutique Family Law firm, looking for a Paralegal to join their growing firm. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of family law experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Calendaring deadlines and tasks and making sure deadlines are met and tasks are completed on time
- Drafting pleadings, including Petitions, Motions, DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets, etc.
- Performing legal research
- Preparing the client and the file for mediation, hearings, and trials
- Preparing trial notebooks.
- Preparing and Responding to Discovery.
The annual salary for this position is between 80k-120k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
