Foreclosure Bankruptcy-(Creditor) Processor
Small, congenial Beltsville law firm seeks foreclosure Bankruptcy processor to prepare foreclosures, affidavits, etc. pre and post sale, docketing, setting sales; someone with bankruptcy experience in preparation of Motions for Relief, Proofs of Claim, Plan Reviews, Notices of Default, Payment Change Letters, etc. is most helpful. Having worked on Foreclosure default services—a major plus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare/Review documents for accuracy
- Request missing documents
- Review data entry for accuracy
- Work closely with management on client document requests
- Check client procedures to ensure that correct processes and documents are used as required for each individual client.
- Consistent follow up on missing information/documents
- Filing and recording documents with Courts (electronically or paper) in MD and DC.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience with data entry, affidavits, real estate law, foreclosure, litigation, and/or bankruptcy
- Experience with LPS- Black-knight a must
- Knowledge of Title Abstract Review is a PLUS
- Must have basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a high volume environment
- College degree preferred
- Excels in team environment
