Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and create personalized beverage experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems (TOAST)
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver seamless service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events when required.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings, with knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage recipe development, and mixology techniques.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer options, and food handling safety standards.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures are essential.
