Experienced Paralegal (Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, or Social Security)

A busy solo-practice law firm in Northern Kentucky is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated professional who takes pride in producing quality work, learns quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, dependable, and able to manage cases with minimal supervision while working closely with the attorney.
Preferred Experience
Candidates should have 2–3+ years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas:
- Workers’ Compensation (Defense or Plaintiff)
- Personal Injury
- Social Security Disability
Experience in multiple practice areas is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from intake through resolution
- Review, organize, and summarize medical records
- Communicate professionally with clients, physicians, insurance adjusters, courts, and opposing counsel
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Maintain case calendars and monitor deadlines
- Request and track medical records and other evidence
- Maintain organized electronic case files
- Provide comprehensive case management support to the attorney
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–3 years of paralegal experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic with pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to new systems and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records is strongly preferred
Technology Skills
Experience with the following is preferred:
- Clio
- Legal Management Systems (LMS) or similar case management software
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office Suite
Training can be provided for the right candidate who has strong legal experience and is eager to learn.
