RSI Europe is a rapidly growing defense technology company based in Vilnius, Lithuania, developing and producing advanced remotely operated systems for modern military operations. Our mission is to empower armed forces with reliable, innovative, and field-proven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel – a dedicated and proactive specialist to join and strengthen our legal team. In this role, you will work closely with your legal colleagues to ensure our agreements are sharp and our risks are managed, providing solid support as we navigate the complexities of high-tech manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and cointinously improve a wide range of legal documents—including complex commercial agreements, technical documentation, and internal corporate policies—ensuring they are proactively updated to reflect our evolving business landscape.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, providing expert legal counsel to empower the team in high-stakes decision-making.
  • Identify potential legal and operational risks within a fast-paced tech environment, delivering actionable solutions that balance safety with speed.
  • Manage the Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, safeguarding our innovations and ensuring robust protection throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Navigate and advice on defense industry regulations, including export controls, sanctions and cross-border logistics requirements.
  • Actively identify areas for legal process improvement and initiate updates to templates, policies, and workflows to ensure they remain agile and effective.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law and at least 2–3 years of experience in commercial, IP, regulatory, or technology law (law firm or in-house).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical, business-oriented advice.
  • Proven drafting skills, including experience with commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, supply, R&D, or licensing agreements).
  • Ability to work independently and manage legal matters through problem identification to solution.
  • Ability to balance risk with commercial objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of (or strong interest in learning) export controls, sanctions, and defense industry regulations.
  • Practical experience with intellectual property (patents, trade secrets, or licensing) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent drafting skills and full professional fluency in English.
