Location: This is primarily an on-site opportunity in the Richmond/Henrico, Virginia area, offering close collaboration with our legal team. Limited flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.
Note: To be considered, candidates must be licensed to practice law in Virginia (or able to obtain admission promptly), have at least 1+ year of workers’ compensation or comparable litigation experience, and genuinely enjoy negotiation, advocacy, and achieving outstanding client results.

Job Description
- Manage plaintiff-side workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution.
- Develop litigation strategy and build strong, evidence-driven cases.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and hearing materials.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
- Represent clients before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission.
- Partner with medical providers, vocational experts, and other professionals to maximize case value.
- Counsel clients throughout the litigation process with clear communication and trusted guidance.
- Work closely with experienced legal support staff to efficiently move cases forward.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Bar license or ability to obtain admission promptly.
- 1+ years of workers’ compensation, personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, or comparable litigation experience.
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
- Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and communication abilities.
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Passion for representing injured individuals and advocating on their behalf.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
