We are looking for a self-motivated Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will provide a variety of administrative and clerical tasks under the supervision of an Attorney and the Office Manager. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is based upon experience.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to lawyers
Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
Administrative support for trial preparation
Perform efiling, transcription, filing and faxing
Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
Answer and direct phone calls
Maintain contact lists
Maintain attorney calendars and monitor deadlines
Support attorneys in all daily functions

Skills

Proven working experience as legal administrative assistant or legal secretary
Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
Computer literacy and ability to learn new computer programs
Proficiency in English
Excellent grammatical skills
Ability to quickly learn and use case management software
Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
Excellent typing skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
