Workers Compensation Attorney Jobs in Remote at Workman Injury Law, PLLC

Workman Injury Law
Florida | Fort Lauderdale, Clermont, or Remote

Workman Injury Law is a fast-growing Florida personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to build and lead our new Workers’ Compensation Department.

Our firm already generates a consistent volume of workers’ compensation matters through our existing marketing, client base, and referral network.

This is not a position where you will be expected to build a practice from zero. We will provide the cases, marketing resources, brand, intake infrastructure, staff support, and financial resources necessary to grow the department.

We are looking for an attorney who knows Florida workers’ compensation law and can take ownership of the practice.

Compensation

  • Base Salary
  • % of attorney’s fees generated by the Workers’ Compensation Department
  • No cap on incentive compensation
  • Significant income potential as the department grows
  • Benefits provided by the firm

The compensation structure is specifically designed to reward an attorney who wants to build and grow a substantial practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle Florida claimant-side workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution
  • Manage your own caseload and litigation strategy
  • Attend mediations, depositions, hearings, and other proceedings
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, adjusters, medical providers, and other parties
  • Identify and evaluate potential third-party personal injury claims arising from workplace accidents
  • Work with firm leadership to establish systems and procedures for the new department
  • Help develop and supervise workers’ compensation support staff as the department grows
  • Assist with cultivating attorney referral relationships and other sources of workers’ compensation cases
  • Work with our marketing team as we expand advertising specifically for workers’ compensation cases

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • Meaningful experience handling Florida claimant-side workers’ compensation matters
  • Ability to independently manage cases from beginning through resolution
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and client-management skills
  • Thorough understanding of Florida workers’ compensation procedure and practice
  • Organized and capable of managing a high-volume caseload
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in helping build a department
  • Comfortable working with significant autonomy

Existing relationships within the Florida workers’ compensation community are a plus.

Location / Remote Opportunity

We are flexible for the right candidate.

Our primary office is in Fort Lauderdale, and we also have a Clermont office.

Candidates located elsewhere in Florida are encouraged to apply. This position can be remote, and for an exceptional candidate in another Florida market, the firm is open to establishing a satellite office in that attorney’s market as the department grows.

The priority is finding the right attorney—not limiting the search to one city.

Why Workman Injury Law?

Workman Injury Law is a rapidly growing Florida injury firm with an established personal injury practice, significant case volume, a strong marketing operation, and the resources to invest in growth.

Unlike joining an established workers’ compensation department, this opportunity gives the right attorney the ability to build and lead a new practice area within an established and growing injury firm.

We already receive workers’ compensation opportunities organically. With a dedicated department, we intend to significantly expand those opportunities through our existing client network, attorney referrals, digital marketing, advertising, and the Workman Injury Law brand.

For an attorney who has the experience to handle the legal work but wants the infrastructure and resources of an established firm behind them, this is an opportunity to build something substantial without taking on the financial risk of opening a firm independently.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
