We are currently seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract professionals adept in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work for Independent Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Strictly align with style guides and deadlines to deliver verbatim transcripts based on audio recordings.
Maintain high levels of attention to detail while processing content.
Collaborate with our supportive in-office team as necessary.
Required Skills
Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening skills and literacy capabilities, including grammar, spelling, and comprehension.
Strong adherence to client-specific style guides and deadlines.
Competence in collaborating remotely and managing time effectively.
Typing proficiency with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
Ability to process sensitive audio/text content, which may be challenging.
Must pass a background check.
Court reporting students are also welcome to apply.
