A leading international law firm is looking to add a junior associate (1-4 PQE) to its highly regarded London Competition Litigation team.
The Team
The practice is particularly well known for defending high-profile collective proceedings and competition damages claims, acting for prominent businesses across technology, consumer, transport, automotive and financial services sectors. The London group includes several recognised leaders in the contentious competition space, giving junior lawyers hands on experience early on.
The Work
- Opt-out collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
- Standalone and follow-on competition damages claims.
- Cartel and abuse of dominance disputes.
- Certification hearing and complex procedural applications.
- High Court litigation and appellate proceedings.
- Regulatory investigations and related private enforcement risks.
The Candidate
- 1-4 years' PQE from a leading City or international firm.
- Experience of competition litigation, contentious competition matters or complex commercial disputes.
- Strong drafting and analytical ability.
- A practical, commercially focused approach.
