About the Roles
Providentia is expanding two practice groups at once, and we’re looking for experienced attorneys to join either track. This posting covers two distinct roles — please review both descriptions below to see which one fits your background.
1️⃣ Technology Transactions Counsel (Commercial)
Join our Commercial Legal practice, partnering closely with clients’ sales and product teams on deal negotiation, contracts operations, and external counsel management.
You’ll need:
- JD + 10 years PQE (top-tier firm and/or in-house)
- Strong SaaS commercial contract and technology transactions experience
- EU data protection/privacy experience; CIPP and EU AI Act familiarity a plus
$195,000–$270,000/year
2️⃣ Product Counsel
Join our Product practice, embedded with engineering and product teams. You’ll own developer and enterprise license agreements and provide broad legal support spanning commercial, marketing, and IP — including select work in educational software.
You’ll need:
- JD + 15+ years legal practice, with emphasis on product counseling and commercial work
- Experience supporting engineering/product teams (in-house or private practice)
- Familiarity with legal issues in software, devices, developer ecosystems, and AI
$190,000–$275,000/year
Both roles offer:
50% employer-paid healthcare (medical, vision, dental)
