Referral Attorney Unit-Support Staff
Pay: $41,000.00 annual starting salary, with wage adjustments bringing compensation to $46,430 after one year.
Job description:
High volume law practice seeks a candidate for full-time work as a staff member in its referral attorney unit located in Wayne, MI. The staff member will be responsible for referring clients to attorneys who are associated with the practice and also calling private attorneys who are not associated with the practice to arrange referring clients to them. Duties include confirming the credentials and practice areas of the attorneys, entering information into an in-house computer system, and mailing/ emailing correspondence to clients and attorneys. The staff member will also be discussing legal matters with clients, keeping clients informed of efforts to locate an attorney, and explaining coverage and services to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Training will be provided. The successful candidate will possess a professional demeanor, positive attitude, multitasking and organizational skills with a high attention to detail. High School diploma required, some college preferred. Legal background a plus. Applicants will be tested. Competitive compensation is offered, with a hybrid work arrangement after training is completed.
