Key Responsibilities
- Develop privacy programs and procedures aligned with legislation
- Lead investigations into privacy incidents and assess associated risks
- Conduct organization-wide privacy audits and compliance assessments
- Provide comprehensive training on privacy requirements
- Participate in the approval of research and data-sharing activities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree; graduate degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in privacy or compliance, ideally in healthcare
- Proficient in privacy impact assessments and investigations
- Knowledge of privacy laws (PHIPA, FIPPA)
- Preferred certifications (CIPP/C, CIPT)
