Job Overview:
The Site Contracts Manager at Aljomaih Energy & Water will be responsible for handling and managing all aspects of claims arising from contracts, disputes, and project-related issues. The successful candidate will play a vital role in protecting the company’s rights and interests while fostering resolution and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Claims Management:
• Oversee the entire claims management process, from identification to resolution.
• Evaluate and analyze claims to determine validity and potential impact on the organization.
• Ability to work independently on contentious issues and claim related matters.

2. Contract Review:
• Review project contracts and agreements to understand contractual obligations and terms.
• Identify potential claims and disputes and implement strategies for prevention.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to identify and maintain the contract baseline requirements
• Look-out for breaches in contract delivery.
3. Dispute Resolution:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes amicably.
• Engage in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain comprehensive records of all claims, correspondence, and relevant documentation.
• Ensure the organization’s position is well-documented and supported.
• Facilitates the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with.

5. Legal Support:
• Collaborate with legal counsel to assess legal implications of claims and disputes.
• Provide necessary documentation and information to support legal proceedings when required.
6. Risk Mitigation:
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential claims and disputes.
• Provide guidance to project teams to minimize risks associated with claims.
• Monitor project progress for Contractual Risk Management.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and contractors regarding claims, disputes and other contractual matters.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of claims & risks.
8. Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze trends in claims and disputes to identify areas for process improvement.
• Develop and implement best practices for claims avoidance and resolution
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Claims Manager, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, claims management processes, and dispute resolution methods.
