Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Settlement Specialist at Groth Law Firm, S.C. located in Brookfield, WI. The Legal Settlement Specialist provides support to the Paralegals and personal injury attorneys’ cases by contacting insurance providers, medical billing offices, physicians’ offices, and hospitals to request updated bills, negotiate balances and prepare the settlement documents.
Responsibilities
Contact medical providers and insurance companies to obtain current balances due, final liens, and request reductions.
Prepare and finalize documents for payment distribution.
Coordinate the accurate and timely distribution of payments to clients and medical providers.
Communicate Settlement details and payment procedures with clients.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience with legal settlement statements a plus.
Prior experience working with Filevine a plus.
