Our client is a true pioneer that creates, markets, distributes and manages exchange traded products (ETPs) encompassing funds (ETFs) and commodities (ETCs) on behalf of its clients (a mix of investment banks, asset managers and investors).

We are now looking for a legal professional to join the Dublin office in a role that encompasses both legal and compliance elements. This role is broad in scope and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment within an exciting area of the funds market.

What will the role involve?

Providing legal support to the business:

regulatory support relating to new funds and products on the exchange traded platforms;

reviewing KIID/KID documentation and funds agreements;

help with general commercial contracts such as ancillary agreements, NDAs, low budget service agreements and rebates;

Supporting the Head of Compliance in;

analysis and implementation of upcoming European regulation;

attendance at weekly sales and strategy meetings from a compliance monitoring perspective;

KYC and AML;

reviewing marketing materials to ensure compliance with relevant irish regulation/codes of practice.

What skill sets and level are we looking for?

both newly qualified lawyers who are looking for a role that encompasses both legal and compliance aspects;

or experienced paralegals/non-qualified legal professionals with funds and commercial contracts experience;

and ideally you will be in an in-house role already, or have a minimum of 1 years’ in-house experience.
