Position Summary
Emerge Talent is seeking a Full Desk Legal Recruiter to specialize in placing legal professionals, including attorneys, lobbyists, and legal support roles. This role is ideal for a seasoned recruiter who thrives in a commission-based environment and is comfortable managing both client relationships and candidate pipelines. While you will be responsible for business development efforts, our dedicated sales team also brings in legal clients, providing additional placement opportunities.
Bonus Opportunity:
For any RPO or contract recruitment clients you bring in, you will earn monthly recurring commission for the duration of the engagement, adding an additional revenue stream beyond direct hire placements.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Legal Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process from client acquisition to candidate placement.
Business Development: Identify and engage new legal clients while leveraging leads from the sales team.
Candidate Sourcing & Outreach: Utilize legal networks, Linked In, job boards, and referrals to find top talent.
Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding hiring needs and market trends.
Interviewing & Candidate Assessment: Screen, interview, and evaluate legal professionals for various roles.
Offer Negotiation & Placement: Guide clients and candidates through the hiring process to successful placements.
RPO & Contract Revenue Growth: Secure legal clients for RPO and contract recruitment services, earning ongoing monthly commission.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Legal Recruiting Experience: Proven success in placing legal professionals (law firms, corporate legal departments, government, lobbying firms, etc.).
Full Desk Recruiting Background: Experience managing both client and candidate pipelines with a sales-driven mindset.
Strong Business Development Skills: Comfortable securing new clients and driving recruitment efforts.
Commission-Driven & Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a high-reward environment.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in ATS, Linked In Recruiter, Google Workspace, and virtual communication platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
