About the Role Reporting to the Senior Director Legal, you will serve as a key lead for our Philippines legal operations. This is a hands-on leadership position spanning commercial contracting, employment law, dispute management, and strategic legal advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and negotiate complex IT transactions, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS/licensing agreements, DPAs, and vendor contracts.
- Provide daily legal advisory to business, HR, and executive leadership teams on commercial and operational matters.
- Advise on Philippine employment law, including hiring, terminations, policy compliance, and local labor regulations.
- Manage disputes and litigation in coordination with external counsel.
- Partner with the global legal team on cross-border matters, standardized templates, and legal process improvements.
- Ensure strict regulatory compliance and proactively mitigate legal risks with practical, business-friendly solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 15+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Law degree from an accredited institution.
- Extensive in-house generalist experience.
- Strong expertise in IT/technology transactions and commercial contracting.
- Solid grounding in Philippine employment law and local regulations.
- Direct experience handling disputes/litigation and managing outside counsel.
