Role Description The Senior Legal Counsel role at Rosalte is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. In this role, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across the business, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements. Daily responsibilities include advising management on legal risks and compliance matters, interpreting applicable laws and regulations, and supporting decision-making with clear, practical legal guidance. The Senior Legal Counsel will prepare and maintain legal documentation, manage legal issues related to operations and supplier relationships, and coordinate with external counsel when needed. The role also involves developing internal policies, training staff on legal and compliance topics, and ensuring that business practices align with legal requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with the ability to analyze and interpret relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiation, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring agreements to protect business interests.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including policies, contracts, and official correspondence.
- Ability to identify, assess, and address Legal Issues across commercial, operational, and regulatory areas.
- Experience providing clear, actionable Legal Advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English speaker with excellent legal writing and communication skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Minimum of several years of experience in a legal counsel or senior legal role, preferably in retail, FMCG, or a related industry.
- Advanced legal degree (LL.B or equivalent; LL.M or relevant specialization is a plus) and valid professional legal qualification where applicable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
