Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Associate General Counsel to help grow and scale their legal and compliance functions. This is a unique opportunity to shape emerging legal issues in a tech-driven healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the company’s internal legal function from the ground up
- Partner closely with executive leadership across Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations as a strategic legal advisor
- Lead negotiation and management of B2B SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and legal infrastructure processes
- Support M&A activity, including transaction documentation, diligence coordination, and post-acquisition integration
- Advise on data privacy, IP, GenAI, employment, governance, and broader risk management matters while helping scale the business efficiently
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within a law firm, in-house legal team, or a combination of both
- Strong experience negotiating SaaS commercial agreements and managing vendor contracts
- Exposure to M&A transactions, compliance, and multi-jurisdictional legal matters
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk alongside business objectives
- Highly organized communicator with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset suited for high-growth environments
