Job Summary
This is the senior legal seat for our Kosovo and Albania entities and a direct partnership with the Group Managing Director. You will own ISA's legal position end to end: the client contracts that define our revenue and risk, the intellectual property that underpins the business, the corporate entities we run and the new ones we stand up as we expand, and the employment matters that keep a fast-growing workforce sound. It is a hands-on, business-facing role for a lawyer who moves fast, holds a firm line in negotiation, and turns legal risk into commercial judgment leadership can act on.
What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and client and vendor agreements, and own the contract lifecycle and playbook.
- Serve as the company's authority on commercial terms, including payment, suspension, termination, liability, and IP ownership.
- Lead employment and labor matters across the Kosovo and Albania entities, from contracts and policies to conduct and pre-litigation, instructing external counsel for court and inspection proceedings.
- Govern the corporate entities and lead the formation of new entities in additional jurisdictions by directing local counsel and corporate-services providers abroad.
- Own and administer the company's intellectual property and confidentiality program, and manage IP and trade-secret matters in coordination with external counsel.
- Oversee data handling aligned to GDPR and support client-driven compliance obligations such as SOC 2.
- Select, instruct, and manage external counsel across jurisdictions, and keep external legal spend disciplined.
What you bring
- Licensed Attorney admitted to the Kosovo Bar (Oda e Avokatëve të Kosovës), in good standing.
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- Six or more years of post-qualification experience, including time in a reputable law firm and ideally in-house.
- Demonstrated commercial, corporate, and cross-border transactional experience.
- Impeccable written and spoken English. This is non-negotiable, as all client documentation is English-first.
- A strong, evidenced track record in contract drafting and negotiation.
Nice to have
- Albanian Bar admission, or clear eligibility to obtain it.
- Sector experience in IT services, outsourcing, technology, or BPO.
- Depth in employment and labor law across both Kosovo and Albania.
- Data protection, GDPR, and information-security compliance experience.
- Familiarity with United States counterparty contracting norms.
