Paralegal Jobs in United States at The Tox Technique

Title: Paralegal

Company: The Tox Technique

Location: United States

About Us

The Tox is the pioneer of lymphatic body sculpting, and since 2019 we’ve scaled to 150+ franchise locations signed and 50+ open nationwide. Our newest concept, The Shade, is a fully dry mani-and-pedi studio that just opened its flagship in SoHo, NYC — and it’s next in line to scale through franchising. We’re building two national brands at once, and the legal engine behind that growth needs a sharp, reliable paralegal who knows franchising inside and out.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Franchise Paralegal to support the full lifecycle of our franchise programs across both brands. You’ll be the backbone of our franchise legal operations — managing FDDs, state registrations and renewals, franchise agreements, and the compliance calendar that keeps a fast-growing multi-brand system on the rails. This is a fully remote role for someone who is exceptionally organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning process in a high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, update, and maintain Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) for both brands in compliance with FTC and state requirements
  • Work with our legal team on state franchise registrations, renewals, amendments, and exemptions across registration and filing states
  • Work with our legal team to Draft, review, and organize franchise agreements, addenda, area development agreements, and related documents
  • Maintain the franchise compliance calendar and track deadlines for registrations, renewals, and disclosures
  • Coordinate franchisee onboarding documentation and maintain accurate records for all signed and open locations
  • Manage document execution and e-signature workflows; keep a clean, audited document repository
  • Support the compliance.
  • Liaise with outside franchise counsel, franchise sales, and operations to keep deals moving
  • Assist with entity management, trademark tracking, and general corporate housekeeping as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience with direct, hands-on franchising work (FDDs and state registrations are non-negotiable)
  • Strong working knowledge of the FTC Franchise Rule and state franchise registration/disclosure laws
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a system for never missing a deadline
  • Experience managing high volumes of contracts and filings across multiple entities or brands
  • Excellent written communication and document drafting skills
  • Self-directed and dependable in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
  • Paralegal certificate and/or relevant degree preferred
  • Bonus: experience with franchise management or CLM software, and exposure to multi-brand or multi-state systems

Why Join Us

  • Own the legal operations behind two scaling national franchise brands
  • Fully remote with a founder who moves fast and values initiative
  • High-impact, high-visibility role with room to grow as we expand
