The Senior Legal Adviser is a pivotal, product‑focused counsel role delivering pragmatic, scalable legal foundations for payments, e‑money and consumer finance across the eMAG ecosystem.

What you’ll have to do:
- Act as product counsel for payments, e‑money and consumer financing (design, launch, lifecycle, T&Cs, customer communications);
- Advise on EU/local regulatory frameworks (payments/e‑money, consumer credit, AML implications, marketing/advertising, distance channels); support notifications and supervisory interactions;
- Draft/negotiatе commercial agreements (merchant, partnership, distribution, outsourcing/IT/SaaS, DPAs) and maintain contract templates/playbooks;
- Guide governance and policies; deliver training; perform legal risk assessments and sign‑offs;
- Support dispute management/pre‑litigation and coordination of external counsel;
- Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Engineering to embed pragmatic controls.
How we’d like you to be:
- With 5+ years’ experience in financial services/fintech;
- With strong experience in payments/e‑money corporate governance and/or consumer credit;
- Tech‑savvy, automation‑minded, comfortable with fast‑paced, data‑driven environments;
- With Romanian legal qualification;
- With sound commercial judgment, stakeholder management and clear, concise communication in English;
- Entrepreneurial, results‑driven, innovative, agile and collaborative.
