What The Role Is
You will be part of a team of officers in the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (“LSRA”) a department under MinLaw, which licenses and regulates law firms and registers foreign lawyers in Singapore.
What You Will Be Working On
You will assess and make recommendations on law firms’ applications for a law practice licence or register their lawyers as well as assist them with their queries.
Your role will include assisting in the formulation of the enforcement framework and procedures, ascertaining and investigating against potential regulatory breaches. You will also help to shape LSRA’s regulatory policies for the legal industry.

*Qualifications/Work Experience/Personal Traits*:
A degree in law, economics or accountancy and/or experience in legal, regulatory and/or compliance work would be relevant, but degrees from other disciplines and fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
You should be a highly motivated team player with strong analytical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Successful candidates will be appointed on a 1-year contract, in the first instance.
