As a Senior Counsel, you will advise on Canadian operations to ensure legal compliance while partnering with U.S. teams on transactions. Your proactive approach in identifying regulatory risks will play a key role in the alignment of legal strategies with fast-paced business goals in the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on Canada operations for legal compliance
• Partner with U.S. teams for transaction alignment
• Identify and mitigate legal risks proactively
• Conduct legal research and prepare documents
• Collaborate with HR on employment practices
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor from ABA accredited institution
• Active member of the Law Society of Ontario
• 5+ years of legal experience in corporate settings
• Solid writing, communication, and analytical skills
• U.S. company experience is a plus
