Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a leading insurer located in Toronto, ON. We are looking to hire a Seniorpliance Analyst to join their team on a contract basis of 6 months, which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working from their Downtown Toronto Office on a hybrid basis.
Your new role
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes in Canada.
Ensure the organizationplies with relevant laws, rules, and guidelines.
Prepare reports for submission to regulatory authorities.
Respond to data requests from regulatory agencies promptly.
Collaborate with different statistical agencies to meet reporting deadlines.
Utilize fidex (or similar tools) forpliance audits.
Identify gaps and rmend corrective actions.
Generate regularpliance reports for internal stakeholders.
Act as a liaison betweenpliance, legal, and business teams.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining licenses.
Address pending license issues with the regulator.
Coordinate with external legal support as needed.
Contribute to the development and review ofpliance policies and procedures.
Ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
Work closely with the USpliance team.
Share best practices and collaborate on cross-borderpliance matters.
Manage a high volume ofpliance-related reporting tasks.
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in submissions.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience withinpliance in an insurancepany or financial servicespany
Experience with FIDEX
3-5 years Regulatorypliance experience
Able to work on their own – rest of the team is in the US
