Senior Attorney / Assistant Attorney 1 / 2 / 3 – NY HELPS Jobs in Albany, NY at Environmental Conservation, Department of
Downtown A-V rated law firm immediately seeks civil litigation and real estate transactional associate attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience on a contract basis. Candidates with public entity and affordable housing law a plus.
Individuals that qualify as federal Section 3 individual occupants of Public Housing or recipients of Housing Choice Vouchers or earning at or below 80% of Area Median Income are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
· Must be admitted to practice law in California.
Must have at least 3 -5 years of experience in civil litigation.
· Court experience including law and motion, discovery motions, deposition experience, trial work, including both bench trials and jury trials desired.
Experience drafting pleadings, and other work associated with the practice of civil litigation under very minimal supervision.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Real Estate transaction experience desired.
Affordable Housing and public entity law desired.
Compensation:
Contract compensation based on experience with an estimated hourly rate of $65 – $100/per hour.
