Position Overview
Postacıoğlu Law Firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Department in Istanbul. The role is suited to legal professionals / lawyers with at least 7 years of solid experience in corporate and commercial law, with particular strength in M&A, contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate governance.

Role Description
The successful candidate will take a leading role in advising domestic and international clients on day-to-day corporate matters, transactions, and strategic legal risk. The position requires a lawyer / legal professional who can independently manage drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, while working closely with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance advisory, and commercial contract work, while identifying, mitigating, and clearly communicating legal risks across all matters handled. Close collaboration with partners and senior colleagues on client-facing deliverables is expected, along with the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university; LL.M. or relevant postgraduate degree is an asset.
- 7+ years of corporate legal experience within a respected law firm or multinational corporation.
- Solid expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, contracts, and corporate governance.
- Additional experience in data protection and competition law is considered an asset.
- Professional working proficiency in French is a must.
- Proficiency in English.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
