We are seeking for a highly driven, bilingual (Arabic/English) Senior Associate to join our Criminal Litigation practice. The role is suited for a lawyer with strong experience in complex criminal matters, capable of handling high-stakes cases and contributing meaningfully to defense strategy and advocacy.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in law and valid legal qualifications.
• 7+ years’ post-qualification experience with a strong focus on criminal litigation.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated experience in handling criminal cases.
• Proven ability to draft high-quality defense memoranda, pleadings, submissions, and legal opinions.
• Experience in preparing and delivering oral advocacy before courts and public prosecution, including witness examination.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage criminal cases from investigation through trial and appeal.
• Solid understanding of criminal law frameworks in Qatar and the wider MENA region.
• Commercially minded, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
