Reporting to the Director of Compliance, the Senior Associate will be an integral part of the team’s success.Â

Duties & ResponsibilitiesÂ
Undertake the regulatory functions of Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, and Risk Officer for a range of regulated financial services firms.Â
Provide consultancy services and advice to Trifecta clients.Â
Manage a number of frameworks across a portfolio of clients, including compliance, financial crime and risk frameworks. Such work includes, but is not limited to:Â
Ensuring and maintaining compliance with all federal legislation and applicable regulations of a client’s jurisdiction;Â
Identifying, managing, and mitigating regulatory risk by conducting periodic review and monitoring programmes;Â
Provision of training on regulatory compliance, financial crime, and other topics;Â
Presenting management information and reports to senior management and governing bodies of clients;Â
Review and approval of clients, ensuring KYC and CDD is conducted in accordance with the relevant framework(s);Â
Regulatory reporting to the regulator, and completion of any federal level reports.Â
Providing regulatory compliance and financial crime training to other employees of Trifecta.Â
Undertake regulatory horizon scanning and analyses, identifying the impact of regulatory changes across a portfolio of clients and Trifecta.Â
Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to other employees of Trifecta.Â
Completion of weekly and monthly timesheets to ensure accurate and efficient charging to Trifecta clients.Â

EducationÂ
An internationally recognised professional qualification.Â
A strong academic background, including a degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to Law/Economics/Finance, or equivalent thereof.Â
Â
ExperienceÂ
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services in a compliance or financial crime role, or at a financial services regulator.Â
The individual should have a solid understanding of the compliance, financial crime and risk management space, who is able to act in an independent and confident manner to develop policy and culture across the Trifecta group.
