Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to immigration law, securities law, and family law. This role requires exceptional legal drafting abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation for our clients. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception through resolution, ensuring that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in various practice areas.
Prepare for trials by organizing evidence and formulating arguments.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and legal options.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Preferred experience in litigation with a focus on areas such as labor and employment law
Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation techniques.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
