Your Role As a Residential Property Paralegal, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting a
diverse
caseload, including:
Sales and Purchases:
Navigate the intricacies of property transactions.
Re-Mortgages:
Assist in refinancing property deals.
Transfer of Equity:
Facilitate the seamless transfer of property ownership.
Right to Buy:
Support clients in purchasing their homes from local authorities.
Shared Ownership:
Help clients navigate shared property purchases.
New Builds:
Assist with transactions involving newly constructed properties.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will be varied and interesting, including:
Conducting comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
Crafting standard correspondence and legal documents
Ordering property searches
Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns and payments
Managing Land Registry applications
Reviewing client account ledgers
Keeping the case management system and database
up-to-date
Communicating with clients and stakeholders in a professional and personable manner
What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you should possess:
Experience:
A minimum of 6 months in a conveyancing or real estate team.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and legal terminology.
Skills:
Outstanding

Technical Proficiency

Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
