Role Description The Reporter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Denpasar. The Reporter will gather, verify, and compile information related to the activities, initiatives, and public communications of Kejaksaan Republik Indonesia. Daily tasks include attending press briefings, public events, and official meetings; conducting interviews; researching background information; and producing clear, accurate news reports and feature stories. The role involves preparing multimedia content where needed, collaborating with communication and legal teams to ensure factual consistency, and adhering to internal guidelines and relevant regulations. The Reporter will maintain high ethical standards, meet deadlines, and help communicate legal developments to the public in an accessible manner.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce accurate, timely, and balanced coverage of legal and public affairs.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to conduct interviews, present information clearly, and collaborate with legal and administrative staff.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills, with attention to grammar, structure, and clarity suitable for diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess basic to advanced Multimedia skills, such as handling audio, video, or digital content for multiplatform reporting.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Law, or a related field; familiarity with legal or governmental reporting is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong ethical judgment, critical thinking, fluency in Indonesian and proficiency in English, ability to work under deadline pressure, and commitment to impartial, non-discriminatory reporting.
