About the Role
We are seeking a KYC/CDD Onboarding Remediation Analyst on a contract basis to support remediation exercises for customer onboarding and due diligence files. This role is project-based and focuses on reviewing and updating existing customer records to meet current regulatory and internal compliance standards, rather than day-to-day BAU onboarding.
The successful candidate will perform detailed KYC/CDD file reviews, identify information gaps, and work with internal stakeholders to ensure files are complete and compliant. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel are key for maintaining trackers, preparing reports, and supporting overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed KYC/CDD file reviews to identify missing information, documentation, or inconsistencies.
- Update and remediate customer files in accordance with MAS AML/CFT regulations (PSN01, MAS 626) and internal standards.
- Liaise with Compliance, Operations, and Front Office teams to obtain outstanding documents or clarify customer information.
- Maintain and update Excel trackers to monitor remediation progress and status of assigned files.
- Support the preparation of regular progress updates and metrics for project reporting.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of remediated files before submission for QA or management review.
- Escalate higher-risk cases or unresolved issues to the Remediation Manager or Compliance team promptly.
- Assist with ad-hoc remediation or data clean-up initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in KYC/CDD, client onboarding, AML, or compliance-related roles.
- Prior experience in remediation or large-scale KYC review projects within financial institutions regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) or operating under FATF standards is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data management.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision while managing workload to meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in English is required. The ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
