Your tasks
Provide legal and compliance guidance & advice to REM management, its organization, and subsidiaries to advance strategic projects and business needs
Facilitate information flow between your team and the GLE Co-Heads, GLE headquarters colleagues and headquarter business colleagues
Expand the existing knowledge-sharing and best-practice platforms and raise cross-country legal & compliance synergies
As part of the GLE Leadership Team, significantly contribute to the development and continuous improvement of GLE as a global area
Vigorously support region-wide compliance investigations and the implementation and improvement of the Compliance Management System in the region
Your profile
Fully qualified lawyer in TR or other relevant REM jurisdictions with excellent business English; excellent TR language capabilities are a plus
At least 15 years of legal and compliance experience within a multinational corporation or leading law firm
Proven track record of managing regional legal and compliance teams and external legal counsels, preferably across emerging markets
Experience in commercial, regulatory, corporate & compliance, experience in project management & process implementation
Ability to navigate complex legal and compliance landscapes across Turkey, India, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Asia Pacific
