Polsinelli's Real Estate practice represents clients on sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development projects nationwide. The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of real estate transactions, including due diligence, title and survey review, closings, entity formation, leasing, and post-closing matters. This role is ideal for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple transactions simultaneously, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Paralegal certification or related degree preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
  • Experience with title and survey review, commercial closings, leasing, and entity formation
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iManage, InTapp, and related legal technology platforms
  • Ability to meet a 1,600-hour annual billable requirement while working a full-time, five-day in-office schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage due diligence by reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, UCC searches, and related real estate documents
  • Prepare title objection letters, closing checklists, closing books, UCC filings, and real estate conveyance documents
  • Coordinate commercial real estate closings, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, debt, and equity transactions
  • Draft and review leases, purchase agreements, easements, deeds, entity formation documents, and other real estate documentation
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, title companies, surveyors, and third parties to ensure successful transaction execution
  • Organize, analyze, and summarize transaction documents while maintaining accurate timekeeping and exceptional client service
