Are you an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting complex commercial real estate transactions? Our firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with a proven track record in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have an advanced understanding of commercial real estate law.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Support: Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and revising purchase agreements, lease agreements, loan documents, and other transactional documentation.

Due Diligence: Conduct and organize title and survey reviews, environmental reports, zoning analyses, and other due diligence tasks to ensure compliance with requirements.

Closing Coordination: Prepare closing checklists, manage timelines, and facilitate communications between clients, attorneys, and third parties to ensure seamless closings.

Entity Management: Support the formation and maintenance of corporate entities and prepare organizational documents such as resolutions and operating agreements for real estate deals.

Title and Survey Review: Summarize title commitments, endorsements, and surveys; draft title objection letters and resolve title issues.

Document Preparation: Draft legal descriptions, amendments, closing statements, escrow instructions, and other documentation critical to real estate transactions.

Administrative Support: Maintain and organize physical and electronic files while ensuring policy compliance and supporting administrative functions as required.

Preferred Experience

Expertise in drafting and negotiating lease agreements, including big-box retail and anchor tenant contracts.

Familiarity with estoppels, SNDA agreements, lien waivers, and similar lease-related documents.

Exposure to construction and design agreements, AIA forms, notices, certificates, and other construction-related documentation.

Proficiency in reviewing due diligence materials like title searches, ALTA surveys, zoning reports, and shopping center master covenants.

Responsibilities Include

Drafting and finalizing legal documents utilizing templates.

Collaborating with attorneys and business partners on matter intake and management.

Gathering and maintaining documentation, conducting basic legal research, and processing invoicing in alignment with departmental guidelines.

Supporting training material development and meeting planning as required.
