Northside Indianapolis law firm seeking a full-time, experienced Paralegal, with a real estate background. The ideal candidate will have both litigation and transactional experience and be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Key responsibilities
– Assist attorneys in real estate litigation and transactional matters.
– Drafting and project management of transactional matters.
– Conduct legal and corporate research regarding business entities, compliance requirements, and regulatory matters.
– Prepare contracts, amendments, purchase agreements, entity formation documents, resolutions, and closing binders.
– Coordinate execution, signature collection, organization, and management of contracts and closing documents.
– Track deadlines, filings, renewals, compliance obligations, and post-closing requirements.
– Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, opposing counsel, lenders, title companies, and various other entities.
– Identify missing information, inconsistencies, and follow-up items in legal documents and transaction workflows.
Qualifications
– Minimum of 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.
– Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
– Pay: $60K-$80K annually depending on experience
